How to Find the Best Character Breakfasts at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World Resort, located in Orlando, Florida, offers many character breakfasts that appeal to almost all visitors, whether they have children or not. Among the most popular venues at which visitors can eat breakfast with their favorite fully costumed Disney characters are Crystal Palace, Cinderella's Royal Table and Cape May Cafe.

Instructions

  • Crystal Palace is a character breakfast located in the Magic Kingdom itself, off Cinderella's Castle. It hosts characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger, all of whom may be harder to find elsewhere in the Walt Disney World Resort. The characters gather around your table during your meal and pose for pictures. The breakfast offers up such favorites as eggs, Mickey Mouse waffles (chocolate and plain), sausage, bacon, fruit, potatoes and pastries. Reservations are required.
  • Cinderella's Royal Table is an elegant breakfast. The characters include Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, Princess Aurora/Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Belle; characters vary by day. When guests arrive, a photographer greets them and takes their photos; they later receive a photo package that includes six prints of various sizes, plus a Cinderella photo holder. The breakfast is pre-plated and brought out by courteous servers. It includes scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast, potatoes, yogurt, fresh fruit and granola. The breakfast is by reservation only and requires a credit or debit card to secure the reservation.
  • Cape May Cafe is located in Disney's Beach Club Resort. It features Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck in beach wear. The breakfast buffet includes dishes like scrambled eggs, breakfast pizza, biscuits, asparagus, lox, Mickey Mouse waffles, bacon, sausage and various pastries. Reservations for this meal, and any others, can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE or on Walt Disney World Resort's online dining reservation engine.
  • Tips & Warnings

    • Try to book all character meals early in your vacation planning, as they tend to fill up quickly.
